Did you know?

Australia is the driest continent on earth but we are the greatest consumer of water per capita. Australians use 1 million litres of water each per year inclusive of their share for farming. The residential sector is the biggest user of water, approximately 60%. Over the next 20 years, Australia’s population is expected to grow substantially, therefore putting an enormous strain on our water resources. The average person uses approximately 500 litres of water per day. It is hoped that reduction in water use will reduce to 329 litres per day by the year 2011 even though, we will still need more water to supply our ever growing population.
